FE-1500 Overview

The FE-1500 and FE-1500-FX airflow measuring stations consist of single or multiple airflow elements, factory mounted and pre-piped in a casing designed for flanged connection to the ductwork.  The factory tested and packaged systems prevents installation errors associated with loose probes and installs similar to a control damper.  The averaging Fechheimer design of the primary elements allows for ±20° of angular flow; decreasing the straight duct lengths required for installation.  The FE-1500-FX model is equipped with a honeycomb airflow straightener for applications where flow may be especially turbulent.  The FE-1500 and FE-1500-FX are accurate to ±2% of actual flow when installed according to the published guidelines. As a factory with full sheet metal capability, Paragon Controls can adapt the FE-1500 and FE-1500-FX to meet almost any application with fully customizable depths, flanges, and bell mouth fittings. Standard materials consist of a G90 galvanized casing and 6063-T5 anodized aluminum flow sensors, suitable for most HVAC applications; other application specific materials are available. Flow transducers are sold separately.
