FE-1000 Overview

The FE-1000 is an insertion type airflow sensing element designed for quick, easy installation through a small cutout in the existing ductwork. The averaging Fechheimer design allows for ±20° of angular flow and an accuracy within 2% of actual flow. Where multiple elements are required for proper duct traversing (ASHRAE standard 111), the output ports are manifolded together, external to the ductwork.  The sensing elements are manufactured with application specific materials (Standard 6063-T5 Anodized Aluminum, Type 316 Stainless Steel, or Type 1 PVC). The FE-1000 is perfect for retrofits; multiple installation configurations including internal mount hardware or bayonet tips allow for installation of an airflow monitoring station where access to the ductwork may be limited. Flow transducers are sold separately.
