In today’s smart buildings, where space is precious and mechanical rooms are tightly packed, it’s difficult to find the right conditions for duct flow measurement. Thankfully, Paragon’s unique Airflow Measuring Station sensor design removes the need for airflow straightener and long straight duct lengths while also being easy to install with low maintenance requirements. Our state-of-the-art air flow transmitters and custom sheet metal shop allows us to provide application specific solutions that deliver accurate airflow measurement readings.
Measure, sum, and report up to 3 systems (i.e. supply, return, and outside air) using 1 MTSE with up to 5 flow transducers and simultaneously measure up to 4 additional differential pressure points such as filter loading, pressure drop across heat wheels, coils, plenum pressure, etc.; perfect for smaller rooftop and air handling units.
The MicroTransII is a high accuracy plug-n-play transducer with a three-mode (P,I,1/D) controller. The MicroTransII was designed to control outside airflow dampers to maintain minimum ventilation rates or fan VFD(s) where piezometer rings are present.
The FE-1000 is an insertion type airflow sensing element designed for quick, easy installation through a small cutout in the existing ductwork. Where multiple elements are required for proper duct traversing, the output ports are manifolded together, external to the ductwork. Flow transducers are sold separately.
The FE-1500 and FE-1500-FX airflow measurement stations consists of single or multiple airflow elements, factory mounted and pre-piped in a casing designed for flanged connection to the ductwork. The factory tested and packaged systems prevents installation errors associated with loose probes and installs similar to a control damper.
The DPT-4001/4003 are analog pressure transducers capable of sensing ultra low differential pressures. A variety of full scale ranges make them useful for many different applications such as duct pressure, building pressure, piezometer ring/pressure tap, heatwheel, coil, and filter loading pressure measurement.
The FT-1000 Series are cost-effective, accurate, and plug-n-play analog flow transducers ideal for applications that don’t require network communication or microprocessor technology. A wide array of options for power, output, display and enclosure type make them suitable for most applications.
