Located in New York, New York, the Hudson Yards Platform entails new construction of a platform over the Eastern Rail Yard, requiring mechanical systems installation, including: storm water piping drains, fire stand-piping below the platform, and electric water heaters. The HVAC scope of work includes the construction of exhaust vent plants, installation of unit heaters and air conditioner units, as well as track and tunnel exhaust fans. Fire protection systems include 49 deluge zones installed over the rail tracks are being installed by utilizing strategically planned and nightly and rolling track outages.

Paragon was able to provide equipment for the East Exhaust Project. Paragon’s Airflow Sensing Elements were built with 316 Stainless Steel Material for this industrial project, and were inserted at each of the Ruskin sound attenuator openings at the various exhaust plants at this site.
