NYC Health – Harlem Hospital
New York, NY
Located in New York, New York, the Harlem Hospital expansion and modernization project entailed construction of a new patient pavilion and the renovation of nursing and clinical units in the Martin Luther King Pavilion. A key component is a new building, connecting the Martin Luther King and Ron Brown Buildings on the site. The new patient pavilion is the centerpiece for the complex and houses the hospital’s emergency department linked to state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facilities on the upper floors, including imaging, surgery, and critical care beds.
This highly accredited hospital, in a very busy city, sees a high amount of foot traffic. To reduce the spread of contaminants coming into the hospital they needed to be able to measure, control and monitor the airflow in the building. The Paragon MicroTransII Airflow Signal Processor and Controller is perfect for this and all the other critical air applications found in the building.
