The new 154,000 sq. ft. biology building is a four-story teaching and research facility. The LEED Gold-certified structure houses the CSU biology department, including research labs, special collections used for teaching, faculty offices and collaboration spaces. A large portion of the building is also dedicated to classrooms, teaching labs, student common spaces, advising and tutoring spaces, and study rooms.
The Paragon FAATS-1000 provided on this project is perfect for monitoring large fan arrays in areas where potentially harmful chemical substances are used. It will integrate in seamlessly to monitor the well being of the students and help mitigate the risk of sick building syndrome.
