Michael Chilingerian
Regional Sales Manager
As a Regional Sales Manager of Paragon Controls, Mike supports the reps located in the western US and Canada regions. Mike joined the Paragon Controls team in April 2016 as a Regional Manager and has brought a wealth of industry experience to Paragon Controls.
Mike is focused on supporting our representative offices in the western part of North America and Hawaii. With his years of experience, Mike has learned to work with engineers and salespeople from different climatic regions and understand the national standards regarding airflow measurement for compliance with industry standards.
Mike has worked in the HVAC industry for most of his career as a manufacturers rep, design build contractor, and regional manager. His first job out of college was in the solar industry, designing and building windmills and thermal solar systems for installations around the US. Mike has a degree in Physics from Queens College. He is a member of the San Francisco chapter of ASHRAE.
Mike’s ongoing focus is home improvement. Since moving to Santa Rosa he has made numerous improvements to his house, which backs up to Annadel State Park. He loves to hike and mountain bike with his dog, Charlie. He also enjoys visiting many of the wonderful wineries in the area, which are too numerous to count. He will sneak in a motorcycle ride whenever possible.
Mark Calkins
Regional Sales Manager
As a Regional Sales Manager of Paragon Controls, Mark supports the team in all areas and is responsible for growing and maintaining a successful and knowledgeable network of representatives who are driven to provide quality products and long-term solutions in the HVAC industry.
Mark joined the Paragon Controls team in July of 2004 as a Shipping Manager. Contributing to the continued success of Paragon Controls, Mark has filled many positions within the company before achieving his current role in 2014 as a Regional Sales Manager.
Mark is focused on providing high performance flow measurement solutions that are designed to be reliable and accurate over a building’s lifespan. This includes educating the industry on engineered solutions that save time, money, and reduce the confusion that is often encountered when trying to source or apply a flow measurement system.
In his experience, this also requires maintaining a local network of active representatives. Representatives that are receiving continuous education on product development, the knowledge required to seek out new opportunities, and the tools needed to apply a high-performance flow measurement solution.
Mark enjoys the outdoors and attending the large amount of local entertainment options available in Sonoma County. In his spare time, he can be found mountain biking the trails of Annadel State Park, volunteering for local events, or working on a long list of home improvement projects.
Adam Havner
Inside Sales Manager & Quality Manager
Adam Havner joined the Paragon Controls team in August of 2012 as a Sales Engineer, working with customers on quotations and providing a technical review on orders prior to production. His position has grown into two roles, serving as both Inside Sales Manager and Quality Manager, contributing to Paragon Controls’ continued success.
As Inside Sales Manager, Adam is focused on overseeing the inside sales and order processing departments. Adam has learned to maintain a constant attention to detail and encourage everyone in his department to do the same. As Quality Manager, he oversees the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and works with Top Management to ensure that all processes at PCI are conforming to the quality standards they have established to ensure consistent quality products and customer satisfaction.
Adam has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering from University of California, Davis. He is an active member of ASHRAE, is a certified Quality Auditor, and has his EIT Certificate.
Adam enjoys mountain biking and camping and is always planning for the next adventure. When not on his bike you can find him in the kitchen tinkering with a new recipe or deep in the pages of a novel. On the weekends and his time off, chances are Adam is outdoors with friends, volunteering, or having a fresh beer at one of the local breweries.
Michael Carlson
Regional Sales Manager
As a Regional Sales Manager for Paragon Controls, Michael Carlson or “M5” supports the Paragon representative network in the Midwest and Eastern Canada. Michael joined the Paragon Controls team in June of 2016 as Technical Inside Sales.
Michael is focused on training and supporting our representative offices in the Midwest and Eastern Canada. With an educated and capable representative network, he can provide engineered airflow measurement solutions to the HVAC industry that meet or exceed industry standards, save cost, and provide long term results.
Michael has worn many hats, including order processing, inside sales, applications, and troubleshooting. He uses his technical expertise and product knowledge to provide continuous learning opportunities on Paragon Controls’ trusted and tested product line as well as the airflow measurement world overall.
From his perspective, engineers, owners, and contractors all benefit from the knowledgeable teams Paragon Controls’ has put together. With our combined experience, we can eliminate any uncertainty involved in specifying and applying an accurate airflow measurement solution that lasts.
Before Paragon, Michael worked as a chemist, creating and maintaining quality control procedures with high end laboratory instrumentation. Michael has a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Sonoma State University. He is a member of the San Francisco chapter of ASHRAE.
Michael loves to go kayak fishing or spend time gaming with friends. When he is not busy, you would find him enjoying a local happy hour or hiking at a regional park with his dog, Mikko.
Michael Khoury
International Sales Manager
As the International Sales Manager of Paragon Controls, Michael supports the team in all areas and oversees all sales and service outside the continental US excluding, Canada, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Michael joined the Paragon Controls team in June of 1996 as a Sales and Service Engineer and has contributed to Paragon Controls’ continued growth abroad.
Michael is focused on managing and growing the international PCI sales representative network in both the HVAC and Industrial process industries, as it relates to airflow measurement and space pressurization monitoring and controls. In his role as International Sales Manager, Michael has mastered the cultural and language differences that can exist between the US and the rest the world, making the sales process flow smoothly from the engineering to commissioning phase.
Michael was a Project Engineering Manager with Johnson Controls International division for several years after graduating from college and has worked on many projects throughout the world, from the middle east to southeast Asia and Europe. Michael has a B.S. degree in Engineering Technology with emphasis on HVAC from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA. Michael is an active member of ASHRAE (since 1981) and an AMCA airflow measuring Station Engineering committee member (since 1996).
Michael enjoys Racquetball, hiking and travelling throughout Europe. In his spare time, you will find Michael enjoying a local microbrew, reading or involved in home projects.
Desiree Martin
Technical Inside Sales Associate
As a Technical Inside Sales Associate of Paragon Controls, Desiree Martin supports the team in all areas and oversees quoting and processing purchase orders for her accounts. Desiree joined the Paragon Controls team in June of 2013 as an Electronics Assembler and has contributed to Paragon Controls’ continued success.
Desiree is focused on efficiently and effectively quoting and processing orders in a timely manner to provide expedient support to her accounts. Desiree completes the full Order Processing cycle, from the quotation phase all the way to providing her accounts with final shipment information once an order leaves our facility.
Desiree initially worked as an Electronics Assembler, assembling products and calibrating MicroTransEQs. Desiree has a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in General Management from California State University, East Bay. Desiree made the Dean’s list every semester she attended university. Desiree is an active member of Tau Sigma National Honor Society and Educational Opportunity Program (EOP).
Desiree enjoys taking walks with her mom, sister and three dogs. In her spare time, you will find Desiree lounging with her animals, watching Hulu and hanging out with her family.
Ross Manich
Technical Inside Sales Associate
As a Technical Inside Sales Associate at Paragon Controls, Ross Manich supports the team through each step of the sales cycle including quoting, applications support, technical review of all PCI orders and trouble shooting. Ross joined the Paragon Controls team in December 2018 and has contributed to the continued success of Paragon Controls.
Ross is focused on providing fast turn-around for PCI representatives on both RFQs and incoming orders. In his experience, Ross has learned to prioritize workflow efficiently by providing reps with the care, attention to detail & empathy required to maintain mutually beneficial business partnerships.
Ross has over 10 years of experience working in outside sales and project management in both the architectural signage and warehouse equipment industries. Ross has a degree in Mass Communications from University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire.
Ross enjoys playing guitar and drums and golfing year-round in California. In his spare time, you will find Ross on the links attempting to hit the perfect power fade.
Vince Poggi
Manufacturing Engineer
As a Manufacturing Engineer of Paragon Controls, Vince supports the team and customers worldwide with his extensive knowledge of various applications in the commercial and industrial HVAC markets.
Vince specializes in custom applications and custom construction projects. Vince joined the Paragon Controls team in August of 2002 and has since continued to contribute to Paragon Controls’ continued success.
Keith Foszcz
Engineering & Operations Manager
Keith Foszcz is part of the Top Management Team for Paragon Controls Inc. and holds the role of Engineering & Operations Manager. He is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the organization while improving operating procedures to increase profits and make the organization more efficient, sets project scopes and identifies execution resources such as funds and manpower, manages the full lifecycle of engineering projects ensuring that they fall within budget and on schedule, and works with customers to ensure that project goals are aligned.
Keith joined the Paragon Controls Team in December of 2012 and has continuously taken on more responsibility for operations and new product development. He is also working to build a collaborative company culture rooted in innovation, continuous improvement, and education, with a focus on quality and engineering products that exceed the customers’ expectations.
Before joining Paragon Controls, Keith was a Senior Engineer for Sonoma County and was responsible for engineering improvements to the county’s landfill gas and leachate extraction systems. During his time with Sonoma County, Keith also oversaw the design and construction of California’s first landfill-gas-to-energy power plants and a compressed natural gas fueling station from the collected landfill gas which was used to run the county bus system. Keith has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering both from the University of Illinois and is a California Registered Professional Engineer.
Keith is an avid ocean fisher, scuba diver, and free diver and enjoys being on or in the water as much as possible with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys snowboarding in the winter and wake surfing and camping in the summer with his family. He is very active in supporting both of his daughter’s competitive sports schedule and was previously a leader of his local 4-H club, helping mentor his daughters and other youth to open their eyes and hearts to helping others through community service while learning the responsibilities involved in raising their own livestock including chickens and sheep.
Michelle Foszcz
President
As the President of Paragon Controls, Michelle Foszcz is responsible for constituting the strategic focus for the company and provides overall direction for the organization. Michelle works with the Sales Team to formulate business strategies and anticipate marketplace drift from advances in technology and competition; works with Owners on investing capital for tools, education, research and development for creating new opportunities; with the Engineering Team on developing new product offerings to expand market share in both the commercial and industrial market segments for the application of airflow and pressure measurement systems; and works with the Operations Team to set and maintain standards for production and quality for order fulfillment.
Michelle joined the Paragon Controls Team in April of 2003 as a Sales Engineer and has continuously taken on more responsibility for business development. She is focused on building a team of experts that will listen to the concerns of our customers and invent, engineer, and design new solutions to resolve their concerns while providing superior customer service and technical support. She is committed to developing networks of transaction globally with a wide range of customers in various market segments including healthcare, education, commercial buildings, and nuclear power generation.
Before joining Paragon Controls, Michelle was a project manager for Tetra Tech EMI and was responsible for completing remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and providing engineering services for the Navy’s environmental restoration program for the cleanup of jet fuel and other sources of contamination so that the decommissioned Naval bases could be sold for alternative land use. Michelle has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California Davis, is a LEED Accredited Professional, and is also a member of ASHRAE and the USGBC.
Michelle enjoys snowboarding and skiing in the winter and wake surfing, camping, scuba diving, and fishing in the summer with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time, you will find Michelle on the basketball court coaching the youth in her community good sportsmanship and developing them into strong competitors while having fun.
Angie Cortez
Customer Service & Marketing
Angie joined the Paragon Controls team in November of 2014 as an Order Processing Representative, became a Customer Service Representative and Accounting Assistant in 2018, and is now transitioning into leading Paragon’s Marketing efforts.
As a Customer Service Representative of Paragon Controls, Angie supports a customer experience-based environment by overseeing customer relations for nationwide and international representatives. As part of Paragon’s new Marketing department, she is focused on content creation, analyzing market trends, and furthering her marketing knowledge to capitalize on growth opportunities and further expand valuable offerings to customers and colleagues.
Angie has worked in the HVAC industry for the past 7 years providing customer service, ordering, inside sales, shipping and accounting support. She holds an A.A degree in Visual Communications from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in San Francisco, as well as certifications for Inbound Marketing and Accounting. As of December 2020, she received her most recent Marketing certification from Santa Rosa Junior College and continues to take career development courses.
Angie enjoys reading, mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, and learning about fitness and nutrition. She also enjoys learning to play board and card games, participating in karaoke, and spouting out movie quotes. You may frequently find her at a food establishment that serves extra spicy chicken wings.
Andy Sanchez
Technical Inside Sales Associate
Andy Sanchez is focused on assisting our sales representatives. In his experience, Andy has learned to use critical and detail-oriented thinking to satisfy the representative’s requests.
As a Technical Inside Sales Associate of Paragon Controls, Andy Sanchez supports the team in all areas and oversees quoting and technical review. Andy joined the Paragon Controls team in June of 2022 in Technical Inside Sales and has contributed to Paragon Controls continued success.
Andy was previously an Order Fulfillment Associate working in retail and has now earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University.
Andy enjoys gaming, exercising, and working on cars. In his spare time, you will find Andy at the gym, working in the garage, or relaxing at home.
PHASE 1: ASSESS

PHASE 2: DESIGN
During the design phase, Paragon Controls works together with the design team to optimize the layout and integration of the systems required to meet the owner’s needs. Making these decisions at the earliest phase of design helps to gain consensus, mitigate risk, and reduce change orders during construction and systems installation. Once system components are identified, the design and Paragon Controls teams make instrumentation selections to maximize the efficiency, integration, and service of the smart building systems. PHASE 3: COMMISSION
Commissioning is the process of testing to make sure the building systems perform according to design intent and the owner’s operational requirements. Paragon Controls’ factory engineered, calibrated, and “plug and play” smart style devices contribute to the fast and successful commissioning of the building prior to occupancy and makes the process significantly more streamlined.
PHASE 4: PERFORMANCE
