Our Certifications
Paragon understands that our customers require superior quality products and service. To that end, we undertook the rigorous process to earn ISO 9001:2015 certification, a global standard for quality management. To maintain this certification, Paragon undergoes annual audits by an independent, outside organization to evaluate our quality management system. These external audits, in addition to our recurring internal audits ensure that Paragon exceeds the standards of the airflow and pressure measurement industry as well as our customer’s expectations.
AMCA International’s Certified Ratings Program (CRP) assures that a product line has been tested and rated in conformance with AMCA International’s test standards and rating requirements.
Performance seals are documented and displayed on equipment after a product has been tested and its cataloged ratings have been approved by AMCA International’s staff. Each certified product line is subject to continued check tests in AMCA International’s laboratories. Requiring the AMCA CRP seal gives specifiers, contractors, and building owners assurance that manufacturers’ performance ratings are comparable, and their product lines have been tested and rated in conformance with AMCA test standards, and program requirements.
The European Union’s Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) restricts of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment in order to protect the environment and consumers. PCI is committed to making sure its products comply with the RoHS Directive and it is PCI’s policy to limit, and to a great extent avoid, the use of hazardous substances in the design and manufacturing of its products.
Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) addresses the production and use of chemical substances, and their potential impacts on both human health and the environment in the European Union. The list of substances of very high concern is continuously growing and PCI monitors additions to the REACH scope. PCI is committed to working with our suppliers to ensure effective implementation of this legislation.
PCI supports the goal of the Dodd-Frank Act to end violence and human rights violations in conjunction with the mining of tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold from areas referred to as the “conflict region,” primarily located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. PCI strives to have a conflict-free supply chain. PCI expects its suppliers to source products that are conflict free and perform reasonable due diligence to prevent conflict minerals from being included in their products.
The BTL Mark is a mark of distinction and has come to represent a high level of quality and conformance based on rigorous independent testing. The BTL Certification Program provides our customers with assurance that our products have been independently tested and have passed industry standard BACnet testing. The tests are designed to validate that the product correctly implements a specified set of BACnet features. The rigorous testing associated with obtaining the right to use the BTL Mark is a powerful methodology for finding and eliminating implementation errors before our products reach the market.
